Content Rating & Standards

PG-13 / PEGI 12 Content Target

Encounter Caster targets a PG-13 (MPAA) / PEGI 12 content standard across all generated material — including encounter narratives, NPC descriptions, scene illustrations, character portraits, and Life Path backstories.

This means we aim to avoid: explicit sexual content, graphic gore, hate speech, and content unsuitable for players aged 13 and above.

AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

All narrative text, images, and descriptions on Encounter Caster are produced by AI systems (including large language models and image generation models). While we configure these systems with strict content guidelines aligned to our PG-13/PEGI 12 target, AI-generated content may occasionally produce material that exceeds the boundaries we have set.

We continuously work to tighten our content filters and model configurations. If you encounter content you believe is inappropriate or violates our content standards, please report it using the Report Content button available on content pages, or email support@encountercaster.com. We will investigate and take corrective action.

User Responsibility

Users are responsible for reviewing generated content before sharing it with others, particularly with younger audiences. While Encounter Caster targets PG-13/PEGI 12, we recommend that Game Masters review generated content before sessions involving players under 13.

Regulatory Compliance

Encounter Caster is committed to operating in compliance with applicable online safety and digital services legislation, including:

EU Digital Services Act (DSA) — We maintain transparency about AI-generated content, provide user reporting mechanisms, and work to address illegal or harmful content expeditiously upon notification.
Australian Online Safety Act 2021 — We maintain a content complaints process and endeavour to remove material that would be classified above PG-13 promptly upon report.
